These Elk Trackers are like army tanks for your feet! In places where my other boots slipped and skidded, these just dug in like I was walking across my living room. We have snow, slush, ice, puddles, and single-digit temps here, too! Most days, I just wear “regular” Doc Martens, which are awesome most of the year, but when winter gets serious, they just don’t have enough resistance to the elements or grip.
That said, now that I have the right size, I absolutely love these boots! I’m not tracking elk, but I walk at least a mile through the city every day on my way to work. I had to re-order mine in EE-width, which I don’t usually wear, for proper fit.
